Pro Series is a great product for accounting, but for most customers it does not satisfy
100% of their ERP needs. However, with custom add-ons and development, a solution can
be tailored to almost any industry. The following is a list of sample projects that we
have completed over the last 5 years. The purpose of this list is to give some indication
of the level of services that we provide.
Automatic Shipping We have written several versions of this modification based upon each client's unique needs. However, in all cases we allow our clients to batch ship sales orders without going through the ACCPAC process of shipping one order at a time. Another feature that we have implemented in some cases is a seperate billing process. By spliting the Billing (Invoices) from the Shipping, you can maintain real-time inventory and invoice after you know the final shipping charges.
See Example ScreenshotCommissions Commissions are incentives for your salespersons to sale more of your product. Given this importance, each company may have a unique way for calculating their commissions. Some of our clients offer special commission rates base upon the product line, individual item codes, or by customer. Native Pro Series does not support this, but we have added this functionality for several clients.
Credit Card Processing There are add-on products that will allow you to process one credit card per order. However, our clients needed the ability to split the payment across multiple credit cards. Our add-on allowed the client to store up to 4 credit cards with each customer based upon the frequency of use. It would then allow the user to enter the amount to charge to each card from one screen. The credit card information is then sent to a secure credit card processor.
EDI Integration There are numerous EDI products out there that can be used with Pro Series. However, the world of EDI is one of loosely interpreted standards. Almost all EDI trading partners have unique requirements that will require special configurations and/or custom programming. Our organization has years of experience in setting up EDI for trading partners such as Bed Bath & Beyond, Linen's & Things, Sears, and others. In some cases we have even programmed documents that are not included in many EDI products such as the 832. Our EDI consulting services can help you jumpstart an EDI relationship.
Warehouse Management For years we have worked with manufacturing clients. During that time we have helped clients transition to bar-coded inventory and location tracking. For some of these clients we have programmed hand-held scanners to run custom applications that can update data back to Pro Series.
Web Development On every street in America there are people who can create static web pages.
However,most businesses need applications that can access their data using the web.
Our organization began web development back in 2001. Since that time, we
have created custom Web Applications to allow customers to look up inventory from Pro Series Data.
Other Web Applications include client pages for account status. Our web pages use a combination of
ASP/IIS with JScript and VBScript.
